FAQs
1 - What is an OTM?
An OTM is an “Of the Month” award created by the NRHH to recognize individuals who make positive contributions to their campus community. The focus of the award is about the individual’s contributions within that particular month, which deem them worthy of the title of “student, faculty, or Resident Assistant, etc. Of the Month.”
2 - Why write an OTM?
To provide recognition for those that make an impact on your campus community. OTMs serve as a way to congratulate and acknowledge positive impacts on campus while encouraging further greater achievement. They also are used as a resource for other institutions and regions to use to help better their programs and initiatives.
3 - Who Can Write an OTM?
Anyone in your campus community can write an OTM as long as they are not a member of the NNBD, as stated in Article 6, Section 2 of the NRHH Policy Book.
4 - What are Campus Administrators?
They oversee the Campus Level Voting Committee and make sure their Campus Level winners are being submitted each month. They can be a student holding any position within residence life or an advisor. Each institution should have a designation Campus Administrator.
5 - Why are Campus Administrators important?
Without a Campus Administrator the institution's OTM submissions will not get voted on by the Regional Voting Committee.
